St. Goran
Parish Council
St Goran Parish, bounded by the sea to the east and south, lies about six miles south-southwest of St Austell. The largest settlement in the parish is the coastal village of Gorran Haven. Sitting in a valley, well off the beaten track, Gorran Haven is an unspoilt coastal village at the heart of which is a cluster of fishermen’s cottages, nestling around a secluded cove which remains much the same as in years gone by. A mile to the east there is a further cluster of homes at Trevarrick.
